Strawberries

We went strawberry picking on our way home from the beach.

There were some pretty strict rules, but we filled our basket quickly and had a lot of fun.



They are gorgeous!



That evening we made a lovely batch of chocolate covered strawberries.

They were awesome!

Beach Birthday Party

There has been another Birthday.

The Baby is now 2-years-old!

To celebrate we trekked out to our favourite warm weather destination and enjoyed a full day of beach fun, plus all the wonderful things that come along with Birthdays like cupcakes, obnoxious loud things that supposedly are fun, more food, presents, and friends!

It was a beach party, but we had a bit of a fireman theme thrown in too.

We had a great day at the beach!

It was a hot day, way to hot to have stayed in the city.

It was a perfect way to celebrate a birthday.

Birds

We had a family of robins growing outside our dinning room window.

It was all very exciting.

Somehow, I had forgotten to post pictures of that on this blog.

It was really neat to see how quickly these little guys grew up.
All the pictures were taken before we went to New York, and by the time we came home, they had all taken wing and flown away!

Chippy

We have a new pet.

The Princess is convinced it only belongs to her.

If anyone wishes to feed our friend, we have to get our OK from the Princess first.

Our little pet's name is Chippy.

So called because he's a chipmunk.

I know.

        

Not too long ago the Princess was complaining that her pet would NEVER eat from her hand. He kept running away.

We don't have that problem anymore.

He eats from EVERY ONES hand!
