On Friday there was another home school day at the same heritage village we went to before, this time with a Christmas flare.
I was there with the Princess and the Baby by myself for the first little bit.
I didn't have my camera out for very long, but I did get a couple shots at the beginning, before mom and the Superhero came back to play with us.
Here the Princess is decorating a salt dough ornament for the Christmas tree. |
It was so sunny and warm that it was strange to walk into all the buildings and see them decorated for the holidays.
Look at our little charmer. |
There were Carolers at the little church singing Christmas songs, even the store had things displayed that people would have been buying for Christmas in 1914.
The kids actually went inside most of the buildings this time, compared to last time, when the most interesting things were all the toys and games set out on the grass.
The had a good look at what they wanted to see, and then they played in the lovely sunshine for the rest of the afternoon.
There was a perfect hill for rolling down that kept them entertained for quite sometime.
Now that the kaleidoscope of fall is coming to an end, there are barely any colours left. But there is always something interesting to look at, somewhere. |
