A Manhattan Wedding

Last week the family packed up and headed down to the states for my cousins wedding.

We stayed there for about five days.
During that time we danced like crazy people, played with our cousins, and ate WAY too much home cooked Indian food for our own good.

The most exciting part of our stay there would definitely have to have been the wedding.

The Little Princess was supposed to be a part of the wedding party.

Here she is with our cousin, on our way to the rehearsal.

The location was gorgeous. A roof top looking out over the city, with the empire state building within eye shot.

The day of the wedding we had NO idea what kind of craziness the weather was going to throw at us.
First it was sunny, then pouring, then hot, then cold.

The Baby with another cousin.

Gorgeous.
We had to drive into the city before the wedding, and then we all got fancy at Auntie Didi's house.

Here are my handsome brothers, all dressed up for a party!

At this point they were getting tired of photos... can you tell?

The Princess and her cousin. They met for the first time that day and became fast friends.

I was the special teenager there. The only extra person allowed upstairs to hang out while the bride got ready.

Beautiful dress!

SISTERS!

It's the Bronx's. What can I say.

Mom and the Baby.
When the bride was finally ready to go(it was time for the wedding to start, and we hadn't even left the house yet), it started raining again. And not just raining, POURING! It was crazy.

Once we were all in our cars, it started to let up a bit.

This was the skyline once we were almost to the loft.

The Baby fell asleep on the way over.
It wasn't a short ride...
When we finally got to the loft, the sun was shinning, and remained that way for the entire 30 minutes the service took. Then we all went in side before it started again.

The roof was gorgeous.

There were huge balloons, a cellist, lights and a wonderful view.

The Empire State building in the distance.

Flower girl!

Waiting for the Bride.

Gorgeous.

The Empire State Buliding. once again.

The newly weds.

Then the party started! They had live music for the first to songs, and the guy performing was spectacular.
 The loft was AWESOME!
It felt like we were VIPs at some swanky New York function.

At the table with my two dates. :)

One of the many sculptures.
The Princess had a blast riping up the dance floor with her newly acquired friends.
I danced for most of the night myself.

Partying!

The pies Dad made.

The Princess eating the pie.

The Superhero dancing with Grandma.
The wedding was so much fun! We got there, to the service around 7pm, and then we didn't leave until 1am.
It was a late night, but somehow the kids managed to stay agreeable for(almost) the entire time.
